TEACHER 2 TEACHER PROGRAM

INTRODUCTION: The Haiti Teacher 2 Teacher Program was established in 2007.  The Church of the Holy Family in Virginia Beach has been twinning with the parish of St. Jude in Baptiste Haiti since 2004.  Twinning began when Fr. Thomas Quinlan (TQ) professed to Bishop Sullivan of Richmond VA "Give me the most remote and least developed village in Haiti to twin with".  Within a year TQ and Pierre Fredrick of Haiti designed and built the Thomas Quinlin School and the presbyter across the street.  The church roof was repaired. The next project was a 2 mile water pipeline that brought water to the town of Baptiste for the first time.  CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT HF TWINNING.  During that time a need developed to support the teachers at TQ's school.  Teacher 2 Teacher had begun
